Meet Our Team

Conscious Tutoring is a growing collective of certified educators who believe learning should feel human, structured, and joyful.

Teaching That Feels Human

At Connected Tutors, our teachers aren’t just tutors — they’re educators, mentors, and guides who help students rebuild confidence, focus, and joy in learning.

Each member of our team is hand-selected, trained in evidence-based literacy and learning methods, and supported through ongoing professional development.

Together, we teach from the inside out — combining science, skill, self-awareness, and community connection to help every student thrive.

Christina is the founder and director of Connected Tutors and creator of our frameworks. She holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Georgia State University and five active teaching certifications — including Literacy (K–12), Reading Intervention, ESOL, and Gifted Education.

Her training in the Orton-Gillingham approach and at Columbia University’s Teachers College Reading & Writing Project shapes every program we offer. With decades of classroom leadership, Christina helps students rebuild focus, confidence, and joy through science-based literacy instruction and emotional regulation tools.

As a parent of three teenagers, she understands how hard it can be to find individualized, high-quality academic support that actually works. Her dual background as an embodiment and emotional regulation coach brings a unique perspective — connecting the brain, body, and learning in every session.

Fun fact: Christina collects vinyl records, writes weekly essays, and makes pottery in her free time.
